As far as the eye shadow she has blue eyes. And gold tones and brown tones are really good, they make blue eyes pop. And so does violet. I’m going to go with the brown. Okay, this is a liquid eye shadow and I’m going to use this as a base so the rest of her eye shadow stays on. Make sure you blend the eye shadow really well. Another way to make the eyes kind of pop is to put a highlight color, a really light color, on the brow bone, kind of dewy. So I’m going to use dew and this is for a daytime look; you want to keep it looking really natural. Okay. She’s got really really light eyes and brown lashes so we’re going to stick with the violet. The violet eye liner is going to make her blue eyes really really stand out without looking too dramatic. And just kind of line the upper lid and blend that really well too. For the day time look I’m just going to line the top lash. And I’m going to show you how to turn the daytime look into the night time look really quickly. Okay, look up. Just kind of line right above the eye lashes, smooth in, actually smooth out toward the outside of the eye. Okay, for the mascara just put a little bit on for the daytime. Go upwards, and go down to coat the back and then go back upwards to give you really thick lashes. You want to coat both sides. Okay. And then go back and try to blend in a little bit.
where did she learn to do makeup? YUK!!!
1) Never use your fingers to apply makeup, it is totally unsanitary even if you did wash your hands, I don't think you are aware of the bacteria that harbors on your fingers 2) If you insist on using your fingers, be careful with how hard you are pressing and pulling on the skin around the eyes. You are really yanking and pulling on your client's skin. The skin around your eyes is so delicate and can tear easily. The best finger to use is your ring finger because it puts the least pressure on the skin than any of your other fingers. 3) I don't understand your concept of putting on makeup and wiping it off. I know you think you are blending it but from what we are seeing with the horrible video is you applying makeup and wiping it off. It really only looks like you put mascara on. Even when you are trying to look natural there is still supposed to be a hint of makeup somewhere. I honestly think that your client looks like she only put on a coat of mascara. I hope that you take this advice in consideration, you should really not ever touch someone's face like that when applying makeup, not even your own. I also hope that any people who are watching this video take this advice, too. PLEASE DO NOT EVER APPLY ANYONE'S MAKEUP WITH YOUR HANDS! A nice set of clean and disenfected brushes is the best way to go. Good luck...
for all the people bashing the professiona l makeup artist, i highly doubt you could do any better. as for not being able to see the makeup very well, its obviously not filmed on a quality camera &im sure that up close it looks great. i think this is a great series of videos &i really hope that she makes more.
What a shame. Seriously, and she owns her own cosmetic line? Hmmn, never even heard of it. I wonder how they approved her. What she did was "supposeply&quo t; a "smokey eye?" Didn't even look smokey. My sister is 13 and she knows how to put eye liner on better than her! When she was applying the mascara to that poor girls eyelashes I was cracking up. She didnt get all of the eyelashes. Who tells their client to close thier eyes when their about to apply the mascara on them?? What a dissapointment... It was horrible.
the girl talking is what 15 16yrs old. she's using her fingers any one nows thats a big nono.the shots are very amaturish.the girl has her head on the side for most of it so you cant see whats happening.im not going to waiste any time recommending this site to anyone.it gives inexperienced young ladies wrong advice
im sorry, but i can do better and im 13. ummm good try?
First off, anyone can make up a cosmetic business. That does not make them an expert.I don't know how long you have been applying makeup but you are most certainly inexperienced. Many things were done that you just don't do. Ever. And when you do finally become experienced, please get someone else to film it.
These videos of yours look more like a comedy routine than a how to video! I am so distracted by your obvious inexperience, that I couldnt focus on your lesson even if I wanted to, which I did, but, at this point I could probably teach you a couple things....good luck you r going to need it! I am sorry to say, but after seeing your videos, it would not encourage me to purchasde anything from your cosmetic line...only bonus is that you wouldn't be applying it!
SORRY SWEETY I DONT THINK U HAVE A CLUE OF WHAT UR DOING, I TRIED FOLLOWING UR TIPS AND MY GIRLFRIEND LOOKS LIKE SHE HAS BEEN RUN OVER BY A TRUCK JUST LIKE MODEL DOES. IM SORRY IF IM BEING WAY TO HARSH ON U BUT I REALLY DONT THINK THIS UR THING. I REALLY BELIEVED THE U WERE A "PROFESSIONAL MAKE UP ARTIST" WHEN I READ UR PROFILE AND REALLY THINK U SHOULD GET SOME CLASSES TO LEARN MORE AND GET BETTER IF THIS REALLY U LIKE AND IM PRETTY SURE U CAN ACHIEVE IT. U SHOULD LEARN HOW TO HOLD UR BRUSHES. I DONT KNOW IF U SEEN YVETTE PARISH'S VIDEOS ALSO ON EXPERT VILLAGE U SHOULD REALLY LEARN FROM HER SHE IS VERY GOOD WELL THAT IS ALL I HAD TO SAY, THANKS
After you applied the mascara (horribly) you instruct everyone to "and just like go back and try to blend a little bit". No. Finish everything, then put on the mascara. Your huge manly fingers are rubbing the mascara all over her lids and your pushing the lashes in crazy -- directions. You should be a make up artist for clowns.
